well i was wandering around and found this h265 vs h264 it said up to 300fps actually  Immoral
i got a 144hz screen, so handling 120fps wont be a problem  Shy
     
there my interpolated one, not anime tho. but worth to watch Tape at Mouth

Why encode? Just use the SVP program and watch anime in Media Player Classic or have a tv with high refresh rate
I gave up encoding in 60fps a year ago.

kinda late to reply tho (lol)- but

encoding to 60fps allow you to play it anywhere on device that not support running SVPs software. it does sounds useless, yeah, but certain people want to have it, and this thread does look focus for them in general

you might give up encoding 60fps for certain times, but here on internet there are still others which curiousand want to try out (how to 60fps blabla lorem ipsum nusquam deserunt mea te)
